Great topic Gunthar. RfR was devoted to much of that and it's an important peice of my life. I feel great! I could rarely say that before and will all sincerity if I did, I really was "faking it till I made it".

"They are naturally incapable of grasping and developing a manner of living which demands rigorous honesty." BB p. 58

"Nothing counted but thoroughness and honesty." BB p. 65

Hypocrites! Most of the preaching that book tends to be the opposite of what is actually done. What is real.

The BB should have been written with "I" statements directly from BillyBoy. Example:  "I am naturally incapable of grasping and developing a manner of living which demands rigorous honesty."
